A LITTLE ABOUT ME ...

IMG_1043.jpg

Hey! I'm Faith,

AND I'M A HEALTH COACH

I have always been drawn to psychology and the effect of physical activity upon mental health. Most of my research in undergrad focused on the effects of exercise on anxiety. In nursing school, I learned how our bodies react to different environmental factors and how our genetics can play a role in disease processes.

While working as a nurse, I saw a great need for better patient education to improve outcomes. I soon recognized that I wanted to help prevent disease instead of “playing catch up" at the bedside. This fueled my decision to step away from nursing and begin the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s health coaching program.

Through the program, I found a way to approach health more holistically. I have always believed that the mind and body were connected and that what we eat is quite important. Health coaching allows me to offer the resources, support, and accountability that clients need to create and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

"Set your goals in concrete and your plans in sand."

WHAT INSPIRES ME

It is amazing when you see healthy choices “trickle down” to clients' children and family members. That’s one thing draws me to health and wellness coaching, the beauty of positive change in our communities.

Fun facts ....

I LOVE BEING OUTSIDE

Whether I'm hiking, biking, or paddling, I just love being outside. You'd be surprised how many ways and places there are to explore in our own backyards.

DOG MOM

My husband Johnny and I are the proud parents of three dogs. Sometimes we get funny looks for having three, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'VE BEEN THERE

If you're here, there's probably something inside you telling you (maybe even screaming) that "something needs to change." Just remember, you're in good company. Let's grow together.
